The Working Principle Of Trucks

- Mar 25, 2018-

The truck consists of four parts: engine, chassis, body and electrical system. The operation of the truck is mainly performed by the engine and the chassis, and the chassis includes a drive train, a driving train, a steering system, and a brake system.

The principle of truck operation: When we start the car, the engine generates power and transmits the power to the gearbox. The power passes through the gears in the gearbox and converts high-speed small torque power into low-speed high-torque power. Then it is transmitted through the transmission shaft. Drive the rear axle, drive the rear axle to drive the rear wheel to turn, so a car moves.

Each part functions and main components:

A, engine: The power source of the car, the function is to make the fuel to generate power, and then drive the car through the driveline drive wheels.

B. Chassis: Sub-drive system, driving system, steering system, and brake system are introduced.

Drivetrain: The power of the engine is transmitted to the drive wheels, mainly including clutches, transmissions, transmission shafts, and drive axles.

Driving system: The car assembly and components are integrated into a whole and the entire vehicle plays a supporting role to ensure the normal driving of the car. Mainly include frame, front axle, wheels, suspension.

Steering system: Ensures that the car can be driven in the direction selected by the driver during driving. It mainly includes steering control mechanism, steering gear, and steering transmission device.

Braking system: to make the car slow down, stop and ensure the car's reliable parking. Mainly include brake control mechanism, brake, transmission device.

C. Body: The place where the driver works and loads the goods. Including cab and carriage.

D. Electrical equipment: The electrical system that assists the driver in driving the car, including the battery, the starting system, the lighting equipment, the instrument and so on.
